Jitterbug a new 2 act play by Elliott Hayes was just released for the first time by Playwrights Guild of Canada  Jitterbug is a tragicomedy that explores family relationships, particularly between sisters. Fiona is a world traveler who’s son, Dan met with a medical emergency while they were on safari in Africa. Her sister, Moira, has never traveled and is coping with a daughter, Stevie who has been in rehab twice. Add alcohol, religion, an unfaithful husband, Hayes’ poignant dialogue and we have a dynamic play that will make audiences both laugh and cry.

My brother, Elliott Hayes' play Hard Hearts: A Comedy of Bad Manners is now available through Playwrights Guild of Canada. He was a brilliant playwright.  “In order to let people know what they're in for, my play Hard Hearts has been called part mystery, part comedy, part farce. The issues my brother, Elliott Hayes deals with in “As you Were” made me wonder if perhaps he had some kind of premonition regarding his sudden, unexpected death that inspired him to write this play. His dry humor and realistic dialogue have created a powerful play that I hope directors and actors will read and produce.
